Modular Smart Home Automation System with Local Logic
Compatible with ESPHome and Home Assistant.
Works without internet or cloud
- Local logic on every module (fail-safe)
- Reliable wired communication between devices
System architecture
Unlike cloud-based systems, each module runs its own logic, ensuring that lighting, heating, and security continue working even if the controller or network is unavailable.
Deterministic Communication
RS-485 Modbus ensures stable, interference-resistant communication across all modules, even in electrically noisy environments.
Modular & Scalable
Local Logic (Fail-Safe)
Fully Local Operation

Know the price before you ask anyone
Everyone else gives you a price range and a contact form. We give you the part numbers, the panel layout, and a cart. Describe your rooms and get the exact list of modules with live shop prices, the DIN rail layout with the enclosure size, and the ESPHome bus configuration — in about a minute.
Prices are for HomeMaster modules — the part you buy from us. The configurator also counts the panel, protection, terminals and power supplies and puts them in the downloadable specification, but those you source locally.

About HomeMaster
HomeMaster is made by ISYSTEMS AUTOMATION S.R.L., an engineering company in Ploiești, Romania, founded in 2007. Our other work is control systems for power plants and refineries: distributed control systems, burner management and safety instrumented systems, on Emerson Ovation, ABB, Siemens, Yokogawa and HIMA platforms. One refinery CHP plant has been under our control systems continuously since 2007.
HomeMaster is what happens when the people who do that build something for a house.
- Wired RS-485, not radio. Deterministic Modbus RTU. A failure is a failure, not a silence.
- Logic in the module. Every module keeps working with the controller off and the internet gone.
- Isolation designed for mains. 8 kV opto-isolators, 6 kV isolated DC/DC, reinforced insulation to the 24 V SELV bus.
- Open schematics, firmware and register maps. Nothing here needs us to keep existing.
Open Source & Documentation
All hardware and firmware are publicly available:
- GitHub repository (firmware, schematics, examples)
- ESPHome configurations (ready-to-use YAML)
- Modbus documentation and module configuration
- Integration examples for Home Assistant
